Two audiences, two objections
The textbook says secure sponsorship, then implement. Building a hiring function from almost nothing taught me it can run the other way round, and that the people using a service are never won over by the same evidence as the people paying for it.

Still evaluating candidates
Hiring in 2026 still runs through the CV, even though applying has become almost free. Having spent five months on the applicant side of a process I used to design, I don't think the document is the problem.
